Trevor Tasker (Executive Chairman)

Trevor Tasker, Executive Chairman of EMCS Industries Ltd., is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience building businesses through relationships, accountability, and decisive leadership. He takes care of his team so they can take care of the client, and believes leadership means owning mistakes while giving credit to others when things go right. Trevor has built a culture grounded in trust, responsiveness, and reliability, where acting quickly and following through are fundamental to how EMCS operates. He is deeply involved in guiding strategy, supporting key client relationships, and ensuring the business succuess in its long-term vision. Trevor continues to drive innovation in antifouling and corrosion protection while advancing sustainable solutions within the marine industry. Outside of work, he is a keen tennis player and enjoys staying active.

Cory Wade (President and CEO)

Known affectionately as the “Rock of Gibraltar” within EMCS Industries, Cory has been a driving force behind the company’s growth and stability since joining in 2015. Progressing from Vice President to Chief Financial Officer, and now President and CEO, he provides steady leadership and clear direction in a fast-paced, evolving business. Cory and Trevor Tasker have worked together in various capacities for over three decades, building a formidable working relationship grounded in trust and mutual loyalty. A University of British Columbia graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce and a minor in English Literature, Cory brings broad experience across business development, finance, and entrepreneurship, with a particularly astute ability to manage the financial discipline and long-term sustainability of the business.

Lindsay Gorrie (Director Strategic Growth)

As Director of Strategic Growth at EMCS Industries Ltd., Lindsay Gorrie leads revenue performance, customer relationships, and consistent delivery to global clients. Since joining in January 2025 as Head of Global Sales, she has strengthened key accounts while expanding engagement with complex international operators. Her approach emphasizes responsiveness, precision, and a strong understanding of operational needs. Lindsay has built and led a high-performing sales team focused on accountability, follow-through, and long-term support. With extensive global experience, she navigates diverse markets and regulatory environments effectively. As part of the leadership team, she ensures revenue targets are met while strengthening partnerships and delivering dependable, long-term value to customers worldwide.

Tenille Villebrun (Director Operations)                                                         

Tenille brings a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of EMCS Industries and the biofouling industry, having contributed across virtually every function of the business, including client relations, operations, logistics, and project coordination. This depth of experience gives her a unique ability to connect teams, streamline processes, and ensure projects are executed to the highest standard. Known for her strong leadership, operational insight, and accountability, Tenille plays a critical role in driving consistency, efficiency, and delivery across the organization. She is highly regarded for her ability to anticipate challenges and keep projects moving forward. Outside of work, Tenille enjoys spending time with her son and family, making the most of time together in the forests and mountains whenever she can.

 

Emily Robertson (Senior Service Manager)

Emily brings over 15 years of hospitality and customer service experience to EMCS Industries and plays a critical leadership role in managing our global service operations. She oversees a significant team and coordinates a high volume of service projects each month, ensuring technicians are deployed on time, fully prepared, and equipped to deliver outstanding results. Emily’s strength lies in her ability to manage complex logistics while maintaining exceptional customer relationships and attention to detail. Her leadership, organization, and commitment to service excellence make her an essential part of EMCS’s success. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Vancouver Island’s beaches, cycling, and relaxing at home with her cat, Frankie.

Sanae Jones (Client Project Coordinator)

Sanae brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to EMCS Industries, where she now plays a pivotal role as Project Coordinator and lead for all project quotations. Known for her exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, she consistently delivers accurate, timely responses while managing multiple priorities with precision. Sanae is deeply committed to both personal excellence and ensuring every customer interaction reflects EMCS’s high standards. Her natural ability to build strong client relationships, combined with her growing technical expertise across the MARELCO product line, makes her an invaluable asset to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, travelling, gardening, and time with her partner and their two cats.

Ange Hehr (Client Engagement & Sales Account Manager)

Ange is a Client Engagement & Sales Account Manager at EMCS Industries Ltd., focused on building strong customer relationships and delivering responsive, solutions-driven support. She plays a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring clear communication, and aligning customer needs with EMCS’s products and services. With a background in manufacturing, Ange brings a practical, detail-oriented approach and a strong understanding of operational processes. Her ability to connect technical insight with customer-focused outcomes makes her a valuable part of the team. Outside of her professional role, Ange is an accomplished musician, dedicating time to performing and creating music. She is also a passionate gamer, reflecting her dynamic, creative, and well-rounded personality.

Liam Stevens (Technical Sales Manager)

Liam likes to describe himself as a science geek who enjoys helping others. He thrives when working with other people and has an easygoing approach to life that allows him to tackle challenges with a smile. With a natural mindset of continuous improvement, communication skills and technical aptitude have lent themselves to helping the EMCS continuously refine our workflows. Hired initially as Inside Sales Coordinator in 2019, Liam spent a whirlwind of 12 months learning about multiple facets of EMCS’s business after his ability to function as a Jack-of-all-Trades was discovered. “I enjoy variety in my work,” says Liam – perilous words in the fast-paced environment of EMCS! Outside of work, Liam loves performing. He has been a part of many musicals and has authored and presented a TEDx talk.

Bev Renny (Administration Manager)

Bev is an experienced Administrator who has worked as both an Executive Assistant and Administrative Coordinator for 20+ years. She has previously supported Boards, CEO/CAO’s and senior management teams within several sectors, including retail, tech companies, post-secondary institutions, and non-profits. Bev is professional, exceptionally organized, and provides outstanding support for the busy and diverse sales team at EMCS, playing a key and crucial role as the primary support for support and liaison between operations. Bev fast became the go-to person within the company; she tackles every task with enthusiasm and provides timely and positive outcomes. Bev enjoys upcycling furniture and spending time with her family, including a new Havanese puppy. Bev lives by the philosophy of Dr. Seuss – “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.”

Gisele Harding (Bookkeeping Contractor)

With over 40 years of experience working with numbers, Gisele’s journey spans from a financial institution to the bustling oil and gas industry, and finally to owning her own bookkeeping business for the past two decades. Her deep understanding of accounting systems and processes, paired with her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, makes her an invaluable addition to the EMCS team. For Gisele, accounting is more than just numbers—it’s like solving a puzzle. She thrives on the challenge of uncovering solutions and the satisfaction that comes with finding that missing piece. Outside of work, Gisele enjoys losing herself in a good book, tending to her yard, and strolling around town with her two adorable dogs, Peluche and Otis. She cherishes quality time with her daughter and embraces life’s simple joys with a warm and adventurous spirit.

Lyle Regamey  (Senior Technical Manager)

Lyle brings 20 years of experience in leadership roles and 30 years of experience working in the oil, gas, and marine industries. He is a Journeyman Red Seal ticket holder, majoring in electrical and instrumentation to understand all trades and facets of project requirements. Lyle has consistently met target schedules and profit levels while maintaining a strong safety culture and an excellent safety record, even in remote locations and under adverse conditions.  As our senior technical advisor, he is invaluable in assisting EMCS in improving quality and service daily. He oversees the control panel assembly for our MARELCO™ suite of products and manages all documentation, scheduling, overseeing, and executing electrical and instrumentation pre-commissioning activities. In his spare time, you will find him camping with his family.

Steven Clarke (Technical Account Manager)

A certified journeyman electrician with extensive experience in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical fields, Steven is defined by a relentless curiosity, never growing out of his WHY phase; his interest in figuring out how things do what they do makes him a perfect fit for the EMCS Crew.   Away from the office, Steven seeks remote, tech-free time (avoiding social media as much as possible), surrounded by nature and a select few people, and always includes cherished family time with his wife and young son. A lover of music, Steven’s musical taste spans classical, EDM, and heavy metal, attending symphonies, operas, and raves on any given day. Embracing an active lifestyle, he often cycles or walks and enjoys – micro-farming, woodworking, hiking, photography, and tinkering. An avid motorcyclist, he relishes winding roads and finds rejuvenation in wilderness camping, he’s a multifaceted explorer of life.

Juan Gonzales (Technical Contractor)

Juan Gonzales is a valued member of the EMCS Industries Ltd. team, bringing extensive hands-on experience in marine systems, field operations, and technical service delivery. With a strong background supporting vessel maintenance and marine infrastructure projects, Juan plays a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and performance of EMCS solutions. Known for his practical expertise, reliability, and problem-solving approach, he works closely with clients and internal teams to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes in demanding environments. Juan’s commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement reflects EMCS’s standards of excellence. He is passionate about the marine industry and contributing to innovative, sustainable solutions that protect assets and the environment.

Maurizio Damonte (Technical Contractor Italy)

Based in Genoa, Italy, Maurizio extends the EMCS’s global reach that, makes it possible for EMCS to be as local as possible to major shipping ports and drydock facilities worldwide. He has been working with EMCS since 2017. He is a highly experienced technician specializing in cathodic protection systems (ICCP, galvanic anodes) and antifouling (MGPS, chlorination). Over 25 years of experience working with world-class companies in the shipping industry. As with all EMCS technicians, Maurizio travels worldwide, supervising the installations and repairing ICCP systems, galvanic anodes, and MGPS systems. Maurizio has experience working with all the different ICCP and MGPS systems brands. Maurizio is a perfectionist in his craft and is excited about the future with EMCS as they continue to grow. Maurizio enjoys being at home with his family in the beautiful coastal city of Genoa, Italy.

Parteek Gandhi (Manufacturing Technician)

Parteek Gandhi is a Manufacturing Technician at EMCS Industries Ltd., bringing a strong foundation in marine engineering and business management. As a Marine Engineering graduate with an MBA, he combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of operations and efficiency. Parteek gained hands-on experience aboard MSC vessels, developing skills in machinery maintenance, system operations, and safety compliance under MARPOL and SOLAS standards. This experience shaped his disciplined, detail-oriented approach and ability to perform in demanding, team-driven environments. At EMCS, he contributes to manufacturing excellence through his knowledge of marine systems and preventive maintenance. He is passionate about advancing within Canada’s marine and shipbuilding industry while supporting innovative, sustainable solutions.

Susan Tasker (Advisory Board Member)

Susan is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Counselling Psychology at the University of Victoria, holding a Ph.D. from McMaster University. As an Advisory Board Member at EMCS Industries, she brings extensive expertise as a researcher, educator, and mentor, contributing strategic insight grounded in decades of academic and applied experience. Her background in leading research initiatives and collaborating with scientific and industry partners provides valuable perspective to EMCS’s innovation efforts within the marine sector. With a strong record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, Susan supports evidence-based decision-making and long-term vision. Outside of her professional work, she values time with her family as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Lynn Ferriman (Contract Administrator)

Lynn is a determined business leader and creative thinker who is deeply focused on understanding and meeting client needs. With broad experience across multiple industries, including consumer electronics, travel, and real estate, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver results. At EMCS Industries Ltd., Lynn plays a key administrative role, working closely with internal teams to support operations and strengthen customer relationships. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail contribute to the smooth execution of projects and ongoing business growth. As a mother of two, Lynn understands the importance of balance and commitment, bringing the same level of dedication and care to both her professional responsibilities and personal life.

Merle Evertse (Receivables Contractor)

Merle began her career in the travel industry, where she developed strong attention to detail while coordinating complex travel arrangements for senior executives. This experience built her commitment to accuracy and accountability. She later moved into the commercial sector, gaining broad experience across procurement, operations, warehousing, and finance, her area of strength and passion. This provided a clear understanding of business processes from purchase order through to final payment. Merle thrives in Accounts Receivable, where she focuses on structure, systems, and timely collections. Outside of work, she enjoys coastal living, time with her family and grandchildren, baking, and contributing to her community in Simonstown, South Africa.
